From May 20 to 25, 2025, the Geneva Health Forum Conference will take place alongside the World Health Assembly (WHA). As the WHA convenes a political audience, the GHF Conference provides a unique platform conveying the perspectives of scientists, medical practitioners and field actors on the main challenges and opportunities for global health.
True to its mission , the GHF Conference will:
Amplify Voices from the Field: We champion inclusivity by offering visibility to those on the frontlines of healthcare. Actors from LMICs will be given a privileged platform to share their experiences.
Create a Neutral Forum for Debate: Our commitment to impartiality ensures that the Geneva Health Forum serves as a neutral ground for informed and constructive discourse.
Foster Multidisciplinary Collaboration: We facilitate dialogue and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, spanning the political, academic, private sector, and civil society spheres.
Leverage Practical Experience: Our initiatives are grounded in real-world practicality, drawing upon invaluable experience gained from on-the-ground projects.

The sessions will address key global health priorities, aligning with both WHA themes and GHF focus areas.
The COVID-19 pandemic and climate change have highlighted the interconnection between health and the environment.
Environmental degradation directly contributes to diseases and fatalities, while climate change intensifies agricultural and humanitarian challenges. Furthermore, human interference with ecosystems contributes to epidemics and antibiotic resistance, with healthcare systems themselves adding to the environmental impact. The GHF convenes researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to promote sustainable strategies that address these risks, safeguarding public health in the face of a rapidly changing environment.
At the core of the Geneva Health Forum’s mission lies a vision of “a world where health is a human right and access to health a reality for every human being”. While universal healthcare remains a top priority for the World Health Organization (WHO), rising health disparities highlight the need for innovative approaches beyond marketdriven solutions. The Geneva Health Forum addresses these disparities by convening thought leaders, medical practitioners, and field actors dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and sustainable solutions to the barriers hindering access to health for all.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Delve into the intricacies of global health issues, share scientific evidence and lobby for action.
Meet and connect with key players in the field, building networks and collaborations that can drive impactful change.
Actively participate in influencing ongoing debates and contributing to the development of innovative initiatives.
The Geneva Health Forum brings together a multisectoral and global audience including high level representatives from the following sectors:
